Not all arrhythmias cause symptoms. If you do experience one or more of the following signs and it seems unusual (e.g., fast heartbeat when you are not exercising), it's important to get checked by a clinical cardiologist or electrophysiologist to get the initial treatment and follow-up care you need.

The Christ Hospital Welcomes Dr. Costea

Dr. Costea was inspired to pursue medicine at a young age by his father who served as Chief of Pediatrics in Braila, Romania. He believes in developing a strong bond with patients at multiple levels to enhance the effectiveness of care. “An additional level of communication outside of medicine can build a connection and mutual appreciation of values and trust,” he says. “I believe this has a direct link to the success of a treatment or procedure.”

Dr. Costea earned his Medical Degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. He completed his residency at the University of Louisville and fellowships with St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and the University of Louisville. Read More...
